  • Advising a Nigerian investment lender in relation to the securitization of several credit facilities worth a cumulative sum of over N17 Billion granted to indigenous manufacturing companies.
  • Advising a major Nigerian commercial bank in relation to the securitization of several credit facilities worth a cumulative sum of over N3 Billion granted to domestic borrowers.

  • Representing a large multinational transportation technology company at the National Industrial Court in relation to a significant claim by a former employee in relation to the termination of the employee’s employment.
  • Representing a major engineering and construction company at the National Industrial Court in relation to a claim by a former employee in relation to the termination of the employee’s employment.
  • Advising a Nigerian financial technology company and drafting contracts of employment for the technical staff of the company.

In this area, we provide legal support to companies involved in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons and handle most aspects of oil and gas resource matters, which include licensing exploration rights, transportation and storage, advice on farm in/farm-out arrangements and financing, and advice on leases. We also offer expertise in the extensive area covered by upstream and downstream sectors of oil and gas projects, the acquisition and disposal of interests in oil and gas fields, marginal fields and other concessions, as well as advisory and transaction structuring work in the project financing of petroleum investments and disputes arising thereform.

  • Representing several Nigerian oil and gas companies in a significant dispute with the Federal Government of Nigeria in relation to the revocation of marginal field licenses held by the companies.
